Eric Hazen

Drivers using our popular UCW rear wings for street and track applications now have another option to enhance performance and appeal. After much anticipation, Verus Engineering is pleased to introduce our new vented UCW carbon fiber endplates. Anyone using our UCW wing can take advantage of this new product. Learn more about our endplates and why they make sense for your vehicle.

One Of The Easiest Modifications You Can Make

Our new UCW vented endplates boost aerodynamic efficiency and appeal.

This wing upgrade may be the most straightforward modification you ever make. Whether running a top-mount or bottom-mount setup, you can add our new vented wing endplates. It’s universal and requires no other adjustments to uprights or trunk mounts. These units bolt on just like our standard endplates with no need for new hardware. You’ve seen vented endplates on our V1X wing, and now you can get them on the UCW!

Why Switch To Our New Endplates?

Vented endplates from Verus Engineering optimize airflow to decrease drag and increase downforce.

Like our original endplates, our new ones help keep high-pressure air from spilling over to the underside of the wing, where it can negatively impact airflow. But we’ve improved performance by adding vents and a new, vortex-enhancing design.

It took numerous interactions and plenty of CFD analysis to get there, but we were able to improve the lift-to-drag ratio (L/D) by 1.2% for more aerodynamic efficiency, meaning a decrease in drag and an increase in downforce. These expertly designed vents slightly decrease drag by bleeding off some of the high-pressure air. Testing was done with standard swan neck uprights in free-stream airflow.
