Verus Engineering R&D Technician and General Shop Work

We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented R&D technician to carry out new product test fits, install video creation, and install manual creation, as well as general vehicle maintenance, and shop help if/when needed. The ideal candidate must be obsessed with continual improvement, someone who never settles for ‘good enough’, displays grit, and have an understanding of typical automotive technician skillsets as well as possess’ the ability to prioritize and execute when it comes to the projects to be done. The ability to work efficiently and proficiently to ensure all details are accounted for during the development process is needed. The ability to simplify and create clear and concise instructions for customers is a must.
At Verus Engineering you will have the opportunity to install prototype products as well as influence the development of new products, install final production parts, as well as guide our customers to a successful, painless install of our products through your work on product documentation. Responsibilities:
- Maintain Shop Vehicles
- Upgrade Shop Vehicles
- Tear Down Cars for R&D
- Install R&D / Prototype Products
- Improve Products During R&D for Install Ease, Fitment, and Function
- Write Install Manuals
- Create Install Videos (Editing not necessary but a major plus)
- Help with Technical Assembly of Products if Necessary
- General Shop Help if Needed
Qualifications and/or Requirements:
- Diligent
- Attention to Detail
- Organized
- Experienced and Ability to Perform Work on Vehicles
- Experience and Ability to Perform Vehicle Maintenances and Installs
- Understanding of Automotive Mechanical Systems
- Valid Driver's License
- Passion for motorsports / vehicles a plus
