    OVERVIEW

Through CFD testing and on track testing, we found the units improve rear window flow attachment on vehicles that see flow detachment from the factory. This in turn can improve downforce and/or drag for the overall vehicle.

These units are produced from 2x2 twill carbon fiber and finished in a high gloss clear coat. Each unit ships with double sided tape specifically to the size of the vortex generator.

    Science:

By energizing the boundary layer, the vortex generators promote flow attachment on the rear window glass. By doing this, we can improve downforce generation and/or drag reduction at times. This improved efficiency is all vehicle-specific, and through CFD we ensure that each vehicle kit we produce improves the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle. This universal piece is for those that want to experiment themselves and test to ensure the pieces enhance performance. The vortex generators were developed in CFD to ensure proper function in a variety of applications.
