Carbon Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors - Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ (BLEMISH)
OVERVIEW
*The pictures provided above are not the blemished product. Blemish products have small defects in the surface finish but are structurally sound.*
As you begin tracking your Subaru BRZ or Toyota GR86, you may find a buffeting issue at speeds over 90 MPH like we did. This is a solution to that annoyance! Most track day organizations force you to run your vehicle with the windows down, and this noise and sound can get frustrating over time.
We developed a solution that not only alleviates the wind buffeting but looks spectacular as well. Our wind deflectors attach easily with 3M VHB Double-Sided Tape. The units are produced from multiple pieces of pre-preg carbon that are bonded together and then clear coated in an automotive high gloss finish.
Get rid of the wind buffeting issues and upgrade the exterior looks of your Toyota GR86 with these simple to add units.
Note: A slight increase in wind noise with the windows up may be noticed after installation.

SCIENCE
The buffeting is caused by airflow around the A-Pillar of the GR86 attaching and detaching while the windows are down. This causes pressure waves to build in the cabin of the vehicle and the noise we all hate with the windows down. Utilizing the Verus Engineering Carbon Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors ensures airflow detaches going around the windows and stops the issue. We ensured the units do not cause too much of an interaction with the air to hurt other aerodynamic devices downstream.
