    OVERVIEW

*The pictures provided above are not the blemished product. Blemish products have small defects in the surface finish but are structurally sound.*

The Verus Engineering Dual-Element Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward or lower.  This is great for customers that still utilize their GT350 or GT350R on the street and track!  The dive planes shift aero balance forward, increase front end downforce, while introducing minimal drag according to our CFD data.  The units do so by increasing evacuation out of the front wheel wells.

Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the dive planes.  The dive planes were designed off scan data for an unparalleled fit and finish on the car and come with templates to ensure a proper installation location.

This dive plane kit was designed for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to help aid in balancing out a large rear wing or rear diffuser.  It is also a great option for customers looking to increase front grip on the factory setup if the front grip is not enough for your liking.

    SCIENCE

Dive planes, when designed properly, can increase front end grip and corner speed through improving front end downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. We utilized OpenFOAM analysis software to improve the performance of our dive plane kit. We specifically target vortex generation to improve evacuation in the front fender wells as well as sealing the side of the vehicle.  This allows us to produce dive planes that are effective without hurting the performance of the rest of the car.

The dive planes are part of our Ventus aerodynamic packages for the Shelby GT350. The Verus Engineering Ventus packages significantly boost the downforce generated by the GT350. We developed both packages to provide a safe aerodynamic balance at speed to ensure safety and improved handling at high rates of speed.

These units are constructed from 1.5mm thick pre-preg, autoclaved cured, 2x2 twill carbon, with a gloss clear finish.

Dive planes, which are also referred to as canards, allow you to shift the aero balance forward, possibly aiding you and your setup in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser or your specific driving needs.
