    OVERVIEW

The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward.

Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the dive planes.  The dive planes were designed off scan data for an unparalleled fit and finish on the car and come with templates to ensure a proper installation.

This dive plane kit was designed for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to help aid in balancing out a large rear wing or rear diffuser.

    Science:

Dive planes, when designed properly, can increase front end grip and corner speed through improving front end downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. We utilized OpenFOAM analysis software to improve the performance of our dive plane kit. This allowed us to get more performance for a given build volume on car.

The dive planes are part of the Ventus 1 and 2 package for the Honda Civic Type R. The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 and 2 packages significantly boost the downforce generated by the 10th Gen Honda. We developed both packages to provide a safe aerodynamic balance at speed to ensure safety and improved handling at high rates of speed.

The Ventus 1 kit is geared more towards the daily driven car which has a negligible increase in drag but a boost in downforce.  The Ventus 2 kit is geared towards the track driver who may still drive the car on the street; as the kit further improves downforce with a small bump in drag as a result.
