    OVERVIEW

Verus Engineering set out to improve airflow through the factory intake system and free up horsepower by using an improved filter media and CFD influenced filter design.  Utilizing CFD allowed us to modify our design, reducing the pressure drop through the filter and improving efficiency.

The advanced dry filter media improves air-flow and features low-pressure drops through the media.  The dry filter is cleanable and reusable as well with no risk of over-oiling and releasing oil into the intake system.  We improved flow into the intake by incorporating a large bell-horn upon inlet into the intake system as well as utilizing a specific cone shape for best filter media performance.  The entire filter is proudly produced in the USA.

    Science:

Verus Engineering utilized CFD during the design phase to improve flow within the air filter, specifically at the base which features a bell-horn shape for improved flow and reduced pressure losses. We utilized a dry filter media which improves performance and filtration from oil-based alternatives. This results in more power, less mess, and better engine protection from particle/debris.
