    OVERVIEW

    Front splitters are very effective at producing front end downforce without increasing drag significantly.  This is due to the large pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces of the front splitter.

    The Verus Engineering Composite Adjustable Front Splitter is extremely versatile, four splitter sizes in one!  With the ability to extend the front splitter between 2 and 5 inches from the front bumper, the splitter can balance a variety of rear aerodynamic devices.  The unit is constructed from a durable, lightweight, carbon thermoplastic and is mounted to hardpoints on the chassis through six splitter ties.  This allows our unit to handle high downforce loads.  The carbon thermoplastic, which is the same material that is used in high forms of Motorsports, is not brittle.  No more cracking like carbon or ABS, and no bending under the car like aluminum.

    Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the front splitter.

    During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This resulted in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.

    The Composite Adjustable Front Splitter was designed for BRZ, FRS, and GT86 owners looking for the ability to extend their splitter forward from the front of the bumper between 2 and 5 inches. This splitter suits these specific needs and balances the car from various other rear aerodynamic pieces.

    SCIENCE

    The Adjustable Composite Splitter creates a large high-pressure zone on top of the splitter, and a large low-pressure zone on the bottom surface.  This creates downforce on the front of the vehicle.  With the ability to adjuster how far the front splitter sticks out from the front bumper, the owner can adjust the downforce level on the front of the vehicle to improve aerodynamic balance.

    The Adjustable Composite Splitter can be part of the Ventus 1 package for the FRS BRZ GT86.  The Ventus 1 package is designed for the enthusiast who frequents track days and wants an effective aerodynamic package that balances the car at speed.
