Verus Subaru BRZ Dive Planes

Dive planes, also know as canards, have been utilized in various forms of auto racing from LeMans to the crazy forms of aerodynamics devices used in Time Attack Racing. Dive planes are small triangular shaped wings that are attached at the front of the vehicle as you can see below.

The main purpose of dive planes is to help shift the aerodynamic balance forward. Dive planes also generate small amounts of downforce, but are mainly used to fine tune the overall aero balance of the vehicle.

Our dive planes have been designed to work in conjunction with our front splitter in order to generate enough front-end downforce without having to extend the splitter farther forward. Adding dive planes with a front splitter will help balance out a large rear wing and/or rear diffuser.

Constructed from autoclaved cured carbon fiber, our dive planes not only perform well, they look great too. Currently, we offer dive planes for a handful of vehicles from the 2013-2016 BRZ and Scion FRS to the ND Mazda Miata and 987 Porsche Cayman. Don't worry 2017+ BRZ owners, we have some in the works for you as well.
