Want to keep your MK5 Toyota Supra on the track longer without constantly worrying about high oil temperatures? The aftermarket experts at Verus Engineering have your solution. We listened to the needs of our MK5 enthusiasts and designed an oil cooler kit that will dramatically reduce oil and even coolant temperatures. Keep reading to learn more about this exciting upgrade.

Why Upgrade To Our Oil Cooler Kit?

The MK5 Toyota Supra Oil Cooler kit from Verus Engineering will reduce oil temps and keep you on track longer.

When pushing your vehicle hard around the track, your oil and coolant systems can get overwhelmed. You may notice oil temperatures reaching 280 degrees or even higher. At these extremes, the oil breaks down and starts to lose viscosity, which can damage your engine over time.

In the factory setup, oil is cooled through a water-to-oil heat exchanger on the block. This configuration only adds heat to an already overworked coolant system. Our air-to-oil cooler replaces this heat exchanger, reduces the strain on the coolant system, and maintains oil viscosity by keeping temperatures within a safe operating range.

Focus On Meticulous Design And Testing To Ensure Results

Our Supra oil cooler kit offers everything you need for a seamless installation, including this in-house machined adapter plate.

Verus appreciates your patience, as we know customers have been waiting for this upgrade. We always stick to our process of iterative design, testing, and analysis to give you the best product possible. Detailed scan data allowed us to develop an oil cooler kit with an OEM-like fit and finish. Determining proper placement was crucial to ensure optimal airflow and minimize impact on aerodynamic performance. Our kit looks like it came from the factory and even utilizes the OEM air duct design from the Supra’s existing heat exchanger.

Once the scanning, design, and development were complete, we took our newly equipped MK5 Supra to the track for testing. A variety of drivers confirmed the performance of our engine oil cooler kit. We found a dramatic reduction in both oil and coolant temperatures. Overall, our component significantly improves your cooling efficiency.  Check out some of our test results below.
