Abdulla Ali is a 26-year-old mechanical engineer, the kind of guy we most certainly get along with. He is married and has a young daughter in Qatar. Along with his love of water-sports, he also enjoys Motorsports quite heavily.
Abdulla’s passion lies in any form of racing; he has competed in half-mile, mile, and drag racing previously. With that out of his system, his attention most recently has turned to circuit racing. In Qatar, they have the QTCC (Qatar Touring Car Championship) series, which he is competing in this year.
Last year he had trouble balancing out the rear wing he was running, which is why he contacted Velox Motorsports for help. Abdulla, equipped with a bit of knowledge, the Velox Motorsports modular carbon thermoplastic front splitter, hood louvers, and carbon endplates set out for testing earlier this year. After a few helpful tweaks from Velox to his setup, he felt that the car was significantly more balanced and ready to attack the season at race speeds.
Fast forward a few months and Abdulla is knocking down some impressive times as well as finishing 1st in the first two races.
We wish Abdulla the best of luck for the remainder of the season.
